Everyday at work, it never fails that at some point of the morning, usually around 10AM, my energy just plummets and I want to curl up under my desk for a cat nap.
The most obvious solution is to get more sleep at night, which I have been trying to do. But even with plenty of sleep my body just wants to get some extra rest in the middle of my morning. After lunch, I usually have plenty of energy, unless I eat too many carbs.
But for breakfast, especially lately, I have been careful not to eat too many (if any carbs).
So I am blaming it on my pregnancy. Do you have energy lulls throughout the day? What do you do to keep alert throughout your day?
